DAY 1 - TRIVANDRUM - KOVALAMArrive at Trivandrum our representative will be waiting to receive you at the Airport or Railway Station transfer to resort or hotel at Kovalam. After noon enjoying the Kovalam Beach. Thirty years ago, Kovalam was a hippy idyll: a picture perfect tropical beach; a traditional fishing village providing fresh fish, fruits and toddy (coconut beer). Today this tiny beach is the focus of a multi-million dollar business, drawing thousands of tourists for a week dose of ozone, UV and a refreshing Indian Experience. Kovalam was brought to the public eye by the Maharaja of Travancore. Over the past three decades, the place has been well developed, and now figures prominently on the world tourism map. DAY 2 - KOVALAM - TRIVANDRUM
After breakfast proceeds for the Trivandrum formerly known as Trivandrum, is the capital of the Indian state of Kerala. It is located on the west coast of India near the extreme south of the mainland. The city is characterized by its undulating terrain of low coastal hills with narrow winding lanes and busy commercial alleys. Thiruvananthapuram literally means Ananthapuri, "the city of Ananthan", the Thiru (Great/Lord) Ananthan's Puram (City). The name derives from the main deity of a Hindu temple at the centre of the city. Ananthan is the serpent Sesha on whom Padmanabhan or Vishnu reclines. The temple of Anantha, the Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple is the most recognizable icon of the city. The city, being the state capital houses many government offices, organizations and companies. Apart from being the political nerve center of Kerala, it is also a major academic hub and houses several premier educational institutions including the Kerala University. Thiruvananthapuram is also home to many science and technology institutions, the most prominent being the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC). Overnight stay at hotel. DAY 3 - KOVALAM - KANYAKUMARI
After Breakfast proceed for the one day trip to Kanyakumari is situated in the farthest south of the peninsular of India and is in the adjoining point of the three oceans comprising the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean. Kanyakumari has acquired international fame as a Hindu pilgrimage. During the British rule, Kanyakumari was given the official name, Cape Comorin it is because of the English men's lack of ability to pronounce the local names. If one is interested to enjoy the unspoilt charm of natural beauty Kanyakumari is the right place to go for. Through out the year the people across the globe come here to see the splendid views of sunrise and sunset over the crystal clear waters. The multicolored sand is considered to one of the most alluring feature of the beach here. DAY 4 - KOVALAM - TRIVANDRUM
After breakfast check out from hotel proceed to Trivandrum the day is free until your departure & transfer to the Airport/Railway Station for onward destination with warm memories of the trip
